Avast Busines HUB 8.69
« on: May 31, 2023, 04:56:23 PM »
    Hello,
    Hub 8.69 has been released.

Release Summary
  • Customers and partners utilizing our Premium and Ultimate Business Security can now join the waitlist for the beta version of Web Control, our new URL and web content filtering solution. Web Control help organizations limit access to potentially dangerous or non-work-related websites for a safer and more productive environment.
  • The option to join the waitlist is now available on the dashboard of sites running Avast Business Premium and Ultimate Business Security (English locales only).

New Feature(s) & Enhancements

  • Added Japanese language support, allowing users to interact with the product in their preferred language.
  • Introducing the "Resolve Installation Issues" button in the device list. This button is displayed when at least one device is without an installed Agent. It allows easy reinstallation of agents on affected devices to resolve this issue and ensure smooth operation.
  • Improved navigation by highlighting the current left menu item, even when in a submenu, for better user orientation.
  • Renamed "Password Protection" to "UI Protection" in the Policies / Policy Detail / Settings / Antivirus section to prevent confusion with the separate Antivirus component named "Password Protection."
  • In Reports / Device report, the Subscription column has been renamed to Services. This column displays only services which are installed on the device, therefore “Subscription” was misleading.

Resolved issues

  • Fixed an issue where the Subscription page failed to load under specific circumstances. The page now loads correctly, ensuring users can access their subscription information reliably.
  • Addressed a problem in the Reports / Service Usage report where data for removed devices was missing. All relevant data is now retained in the report as expected.
  • Resolved the duplication of Global Policies on newly created sites. Now, if no site policies are present, only one copy of the Global Policies is displayed to avoid redundancy.
  • Fixed a visibility issue with created Groups in the Devices section. Previously, groups were not visible, and operations on them were not possible. After the fix, groups are now visible, and all actions can be performed accordingly.

Known issues

  • Exclusions containing wildcards are currently not functioning correctly on macOS. We are actively working on resolving this issue and apologize for any inconvenience caused.
  • Managing Real Site component on MacOS AV 15.5 is currently not supported. We are aware of this limitation and are working on providing a solution in a future release.

Also, there is change in Cloud Backup System Requirements.
Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 or later is required, this article will be updated soon.
