Trojan.Multi.BroSubsc.gen Detection
« on: June 21, 2023, 08:49:55 AM »
I run multiple antivirus softwares, and so Avast didn't pick this detection up (I assume it must be for a good reason). My antivirus software Kaspersky detected a file in the system memory that is called "Trojan.Multi.BroSubsc.gen". Is this a false positive or is this adware or an actual trojan? Please let me know. Thanks!

First thing you would need to do is remove all anti virus programs except the one you wish to keep.

Signatures of other programs maybe detected as well as low level drivers running in the background will likely cause issues, even if the AV is disabled.

Impossible to say from the info given, a malware name give no info about false positive or not

A start would be the name of the file detected, and where the file was found ( full file path)

And as Craig said, never install more then one AV

See info here.
Why it isn’t a good idea to run multiple full antivirus products..!!
