The only way to fix the problem is to turn off "Enable Samba Protection"
Can you be more specific about the solution?
Where did you uncheck the Samba protection?
Did you reboot your system afterwards?
As far as I'm concerned, I've tried on my 3 networked devices (W7, W10, W10) to uncheck "Enable Samba Protection" in "remote access shield" settings but I cannot find the shared folders/files even though I ping the devices correctly.
edit:
I've just seen that by accepting "allow sharing of incoming files and printers via the SMB protocol" for public networks ... the sharing works again.
But that's strange because it would mean that my network is considered to be public when it isn't.
