Is there a whitelist for Tracking Prevention?
« on: July 18, 2023, 12:16:36 AM »
I am using Avast One for Windows, version 23.6.6070 build 23.6.8271.788

I am unable to log into a banking website I want to use if Tracking Prevention is turned on.  When Tracking Prevention is turned off I can access the website just fine.

I cannot find a way to whitelist a website in Tracking Prevention.  I added the website to the "exception" list in Web Shield hoping it would trickle down to Tracking Prevention, but it did not.

Is there anything else I can try?

Thank you.

See here how you can add or remove a filter rule:
Re: chrome-extension://cjpalhdlnbpafiamejdnhcphjbkeiagm/document-blocked.html?details=%7B%22url%22%3A%22https%3A%2F%2Ft-rack.tychon.bid%2Fproceed.php%3Fdomain%3Dit-qa.com%26hash%
Because of the rule: || tychon.bid^ (random example to show how it functions).

See what tracking prevents you from visiting the tracking performed by your bank website.
Or toggle just for that page to be omitted.

I apologize, Polonus, but I wasn't able to use your suggestion.  Was that supposed to be a link to an article?  Please, speak to me like I'm five years old.  Thank you.
