Using Avast Mobile Security Premium on iOS 16.5.1 and for the second time this week, between midnight and 6am Avast was using 97% of my battery and drained the battery completely. I woke up for a completely flat phone, turned off. According to the battery statistics, nothing else was using the battery after midnight but Avast Mobile Security was using 97% during the time 00:00 - 06:00
I would like to be honest here and sorry about the rant in advance.
I understand for marketing purposes, Avast have to have an iOS version published in the App Store but please consider to remove it from the App Store. It is completely useless. Not a single feature works in the iOS app.
I have it installed because I am hoping it is offer some protection on the Web, "better than nothing" and I get some value for my money but honestly I doubt it works. I am certain not a single feature of the Avast mobile app works. I am even open to the possibility it is a spyware considering the weird DNS IP I get with it.
Just take a look at all my topics I have opened in the past couple years and received 0 solutions including the weird DNS IP. I still have all the problems I have posted on this forum. Nothing is solved, nothing is works and now it's even flatten my battery overnight.
Honestly, the iOS team is doing nothing but burn money. Instead please consider to invest the money in to the Mac version.
