I use Sellerdeck Ecommerce Software extensively as I am a partner developer.
Avast Premium Firewall stops Sellerdeck working on Public Networks.
The Log shows that the Rule 'Public Tcp/Udp In Block' is blocking the Sellerdeck Synchronisation Server.
It says that this is a predefined rule which is not allowed to be changed.
I have created application rules using this data:
Remote address: 192.168.224.248
Remote Port: 57425
Direction: In
Local Address: 192.168.224.248
Local Port: 54388
Public
Tcp/Udp
But this is overuled by the predefined rule as above.
The application that needs to be allowed is C:\Program Files (x86)\SellerDeck\Sellerdeck v18\ActSyncSvr.exe
At present I have to switch off the Avast Firewall to use Sellerdeck on a public network and let windows firewall operate in its place which DOES allow and exception for the Sellerdeck Synchronisation Server.
How may I allow the Sellerdeck Synchronisation Server to go through the Avast Premium Firewall so that the product is useable?
