Avast virus defs

There haven't been new virus defs since Oct 19th 11AM. Is there a problem?

My VPS is reported as 231019-6 which seems very strange (though not entirely a problem).

You should also be getting the streaming updates which keeps them up to date until receipt of the next VPS update.

A Manual update confirms they are up to date and streaming updates are keeping them up to date.

Same with me. Noticed it earlier too, thought it was odd. Had to check the defs folder in Program files to make sure the streaming updates were still rolling in.

Probably Avast taking the weekend off.

same here in uk showing 231019-6

tried manual update and its updated to below.

UI hasnt updated automatically for me in almost a year even though ive got auto update ticked.
devs have always updated on their own before this was mentioned, until today.

I have Version 231022-4 now.

All in all not a lot to worry about, the streaming updates did their job of incrementing the virus signatures with the latest signatures.
