Avast changing network from private to public

hi, for some time now occasionaly my avast changes my network from private to public messing up with some programs in my PC, i already disable de automatic profile switching option in geek area and it didnt work, any other option that can help me?

Do you use a stand alone vpn?
This has happened a few times over the last year for me and each time it was either my vpn had not logged in automatically or avast had an update waiting to be installed (even though i have it set to auto update). as soon as i manually updated the firewall changed back to private.
