website flagged, false positive?
« on: November 21, 2023, 09:01:30 AM »
I've never had a problem with this website before: https://www.hanbonforge.com

The webpage is a sword manufacturer in China.  I've never had issues with this website but Avast blocks and says it's blacklisted.  Please help?

-  Please break active links to suspect sites to avoid accidental exposure, only post the domain-name or change the https to hxxps to break the link.

The fact that it has never been an issue before is no guarantee it won't have a problem.

See - https://www.virustotal.com/gui/url/eeb3ac2a925ef7ee13ed4956666d8bb9adfdce76dd16ea66d4493e25187834d1/detection only three detections. Note Avast doesn't participate in the web site scanning on Virus Total.
https://en.internet.nl/site/hanbonforge.com/2475040/ - but some security considerations - Domain name not signed (DNSSEC) and Failed : Connection not or insufficiently secured (HTTPS)
https://sitecheck.sucuri.net/results/hanbonforge.com - considered a low security risk - but with security pointers
