Setup of Multiple Outlook Express Accounts?
« on: March 13, 2004, 06:15:17 AM »
I searched before posting this and wasn't able to find the answer, so excuse me if this has recently been answered.

I use Outlook Express with 2 different ISP accounts and couldn't figure out how to configure the Internet Mail provider since it only asks for one SMTP and POP3 Server name.  Does the free Home program support multiple Outlook Express accounts with different ISP's?

Sure does..... Just make sure your normal setup is in your email accounts. Then go to the mail wizard and enter info, then tell it to do auto for all further setups. Oh and make sure your email program is off when doing the wizard setup... Also it isnt a bad idea to restart comp after also.

Hope that helps...

Robby, do not mess the 'default' pop3/smtp servers (used to send files to analysis and other things) and your pop3/smtp account servers. avast! will work fine with any number of servers, just run the Mail Protection Wizard.
