What to do with this: URL:Phishing
« on: March 13, 2024, 02:43:34 PM »
Hi,

Since today I get several phishing warnings from Avast when I log into my hXXp://Namecheap.com account. It happens in different browsers (Chrome and Safari). Namecheap told there is no infection on their side, but I should contact Avast.

I want to verify if these are false positives and what I can do about it, since I can't access my dashboard safely (according to Avast) at Namecheap.com

These are a few warning that I got in Chrome and Safari.

- Please 'modify' your post change the URL from http to hXXp or www to wXw, to break the link and avoid accidental exposure to suspect sites (as I have in the quoted text above), thanks.

Note Pondus and DavidR are just forum members and not Avast staff. You would be best to submit a form to Avast.
