HOW I SCAN MY PC IN DOS MODE (WIN XP RUNING)

Hi Guys/Gals

Im using win xp, avast home and today my pc has been attacked by a strange virus which automaticaly closes my active window, Ie browser & installing new program. I want to run avast scanner in dos mode to make sure that avast got FAILED. sorry to say that

Schedule a boot time scanning with avast. Start avast! > Right click the skin > Schedule a boot-time scanning. Select for scanning archives. Boot. Other option is scanning in SafeMode (repeatedly press F8 while booting).

If infected files are found, it's safer to send them to Chest instead of deleting them.
This way you can further analysis them.
