Error even after upgrade

I keep getting a prompt that Avast Secure Browser could not update and to download and reinstall. I am still getting the same error prompt even after installing the newly downloaded version. When I check the update status it shows An error occurred while checking for updates: Update check failed to start (error code 1: 0X80004005 -- system level).

Sometimes (not all the time) a system restart will fix your Secure Browser update issue.
