Did this issue with Bank Mode start with the newest update? If yes, you may want to
repair your Avast Premium Security installation.

Check what the current version for Avast Secure Browser is (standard user).
Go to 3 dots upper right corner and click that. Avast Secure Browser runs in both user environments and is the same user version for both:
- Standard User Mode
- Bank Mode
If the standard (non-bank mode browser) is older than the indicated version attached below, then merely opening the About Avast Secure Browser window will start the updating process.
