I am new to antivirus software. May I assume that if I install Avast One Silver I will be able to uninstall the Mc
Afee software with no problems? Sorry for thd ignorant question.

Installing another Antivirus Whilst another is installed could bring conflicts - so it would be best to disable McAfee or set it into Passive mode if it has such a thing just before downloading the Avast One installation file and and then installing Avast One.

I have never used McAfee or Avast One (Avast Free Antivirus user) so I can't speak from personal experience

Better to ask than not to.
