Mine is doing the same, as is another national phpBB.  My son can find no problem with his work laptop running McAffee.  I'm assuming it's Avast that has got over-sensitive.

It did update just before, and I've tried updating again in case there was a hitch while uploading.  Maybe they will have sorted it by tomorrow's update - or I'll change to another provider rrather than not be able to get onto my own BB.

VWDave.

Ah - a solution is being worked on - excellent!

Something that happened on my computer that I never have understood:

I had these folders full of stuff I had transferred from one computer to another, and for some reason, these applications magically made themselves in those folders, called [nameofthefolder].exe.  These were viruses.  Any idea how that happened?

Fortunately, my phpBB3 forum isn't affected.  ;D

I got a virus alert trying to access SUPERAntiSpyware forums.  No doubt a false positive. ::)

After an update approximately one hour ago, I can't visit ANY web page whatsoever without encountering multiple instances of the following warning. Yes, I had to disable my Avast antivirus to visit the Avast antivirus forum. The irony.  ::) I really don't want to uninstall because it has served me extremely well up to this point.
