Wireless Network?

Is it ok to use avast home edition on two computers on a network or not (one on a laptop and one on the main pc)?

If the use of both qualify as home, non-commercial use then yes.

yes they are for home use, would the updates for both conflict as they both travel through the same wireless router?

I don't believe so as the router would be sharing your connection bandwidth, so it shouldn't be an issue.

You could however, set a delay on checking for updates on one of the systems, I would suggest a delay on the laptop rather than the desktop.

does Avast need to be run on a administrator account or can it be run without issues on a limited account?

ps also if anyone has Comodo firewall V2.4 can that be run on a limited account?

It can be run on a limited user account but you can only do VPS updates and not program updates. I don't know what the ramifications would be if also using Vista and the user security thing.

The updates work just fine, I have the same setup with a wireless router.

I don't see any reason why not (assumes you have two pro licences) as the update process would be the same for both versions.
