Hello I'm having a bit of trouble loading avast home edition onto a new laptop with a fresh installation of Vista home premium.
Running the installer upon reaching "service" (where is displayed what files are being installed) a pop-up says "instalation failed" and as second time the same way 5 seconds later. Then windows notifies me that avast is not responding and wants to close with no other option.
UAC is off, no other antivirus is on or installed. And account is an administrator.
Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks!
