I Want Avast to conduct virus scan in TUGZip
« on: February 09, 2008, 01:38:22 AM »
I've been reviewing TUGZip recently and find that there is a problem in using avast to do Anti Virus scans of archieved files.  The problem is not Avast, but rather creating the correct parameters within TUGZip's configuration.  On their forum, I found someone who was able to get the virus check conducted by using a parameter of %path%, but the temp file created by TUGZip to allow Avast to virus check is supposed to be deleted after scan, and it is not.  Instead there is an error message dealing with not being able to locate the source file or folder.

I figure the best way to find a solution to this problem is ask fellow users of Avast who also use/used TUGZip.

So if anyone out there has a solution to the parameters problem, please let me know.

Thanks.  SA Jack
