Best way to secure my network
« on: February 19, 2008, 03:43:13 PM »
Good day,

I'm having some performance problems in my network. I don't blame it on avast! but you never know..

There are three Terminalservers and one Fileserver. The OS is Windows 2003
most of the data is located on de fileserver and the software installed locally on the TS is excluded from scanning.

I've been trying to enable and disable the networkshield/standardshield

What are the best settings? network enabled on TS or not?
or should I only enable it on the fileserver?
I also get an error : scanning warning: x_AavmCheckFileDirectEx [UNI]:
Is this related or a problem in the update?

Thanks,
