     question to everyone:
Now that i have a stable and good anti-virus program what firewall do you all recommend? (Something that will co-exist with Avast.) Am running off of a cable modem with a router.
                                           Thanks ???

Depends on what you want/can afford. www.zonlabs.com and ww.kerio.com have free firewall software for personal/non commercial use. Best protection is a router with build in firewall which will cost about 50 usd / 40 euro. If you want to know... Personally I run ZA Pro at home and a Zywell router at my store. If you thinking of getting Kerio Personal Firewall don't get the 4.x version since it has some issues.

Me too (the Free version)  ;)
Sygate Personal Firewall is good too.
Kerio and Outpost are for 'advanced' ones (rule based)  ;)

Outpost is easy to use. Interface looks complicated, but its not. And program control is very easy to control :P Oh and it uses very little memory.
