wget command result - File not found
« on: March 05, 2008, 03:03:11 PM »
??? I'm in the correct path but each time I type wget http://files.avast.com/files/latest
 the result is:

file not found

wget -v, wget -V, wget -h and wget -H does not work.

I unpackaged the wget file successfully (Received the file from http://www.sunfreeware.com/).  The install file says, if I'm reading this it unpackaged succesfully.  The wget file  displays as a application / - executable.

Any clues why wget may not work?

"Command not found" - wget is not in the path
but, anyway, all the wget stuff is performed by avastvpsupdate.sh script - there's no need to spawn wget manually this way....
