Silent Install works great but no scheduled task.
« on: March 13, 2008, 06:25:08 PM »
I have to deploy a bunch of Avast Pro setups and have the licenses already purchased and ready to go.  I've made a silent install per the destructions in the help file  In the steps outlined in that section of the help file, it says to tweak avast as you see fit so I do so.  I set my update tweaks and set up a scheduled scan for every night.  I go through the wizard and it spits out Admin.ini & Tasks.xml.  I tested it on a clean PC (VMWare) and it installs like a champ!  However, when I double check to see that all the settings carried over, I notice that the scheduled task is there but it has no task to run!  At first, I thought I screwed up and didn't choose a task to run but when it happened to me a second time, I knew I wasn't at fault.  Look through my Admin.ini & Tasks.xml file to see if the wizard broke something.

Any ideas?

WOW!  No replies?  Perhaps a bug?
