Your log shows that you have both AVG and avast installed on your system.

This really is not a good idea.  Decide which AV you wish to use, run with it and uninstall the other.

Just trying to make one of them not startup is not good enough - there are parts of both products that get installed at a low level by the operating system and then can and do conflict with each other.

Are you trying to kill avast! process? If yes, then it's exactly as expected - that's the new self-defense feature.

Go to the "Troubleshooting" section of the avast Program Settings and you can turn it off (well suspend it really - the software is still loaded but the self defence features are avoided - a reboot/restart are not required).

Turning off the self-defence makes no changes to the resources used by avast - everything is still there and functioning.  If something tries to change avast it will just let it happen.

This will not improve the performance of your system.

If it needs resources then get rid of AVG and you will gain some straight away.

You can uninstall any providers you don't want, from the add remove programs, avast antivirus, Change/remove, Change, now uncheck the providers you don't want. Be careful only to uncheck those that aren't essential (IMHO that is Standard Shield the main scanner, Web Shield and Internet Mail). Others like Instant Messaging or P2P if you use any of those apps then keep the providers. The Network Shield can also be a very handy provider if your firewall fails to stop worm/virus/DCOM exploits, etc. As you are probably seeing that is most of the avast providers. This is preferable to disabling the self-defence module to terminate processes.

The greatest majority of these don't use much in the way of CPU cycles (I guess the most important to gamers) as for the most part they are dormant and memory really shouldn't be an issue in the greater scheme of things if you have 1, 2 or more GB of memory.

If I had to balance playing games against protection I would go for protection (not being a gamer) and if it meant needing more memory, etc. then I would get it.
Windows 10 Home 64bit/ Acer Aspire F15/ Intel Core i5 7200U 2.5GHz, 8GB DDR4 memory, 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD/ avast! free 21.8.2487 (build 21.8.6586.693) UI 1.0.666/ Firefox, uBlock Origin, uMatrix/ MailWasher Pro/ Avast! Mobile Security

Well... but on-line games are a source of infections also... precisely when you let all the resources open without an antivirus ;)
What I can't understand is that you're using AVG and avast ???
