After loading the new Avast virus scanner 4.8 and the new update, I found game pings to be 999 after entering DMH and 2015 in Postal 2. Both games use the UT engine. Never found any problems with the 4.7 version, Even turning Avast 4.8 off will only lower the ping to 400. If you have high pings all the sudden try uninstalling Avast 4.8 first before you do anything. I have had this problem on 3 computers so far, I have talked to Hogo and Randy, both say their computers are fine with the 4.8 Pro, so it may be because I have all 3 computers fully updated, 2 with xp pro sp2, and 1 with xp pro sp3 , which will be out to the public real soon. Problems I have are with Avast 4.8 Free loaded. Ok, just reporting my problems.
