I have noticed a fair amount of comments that the new 4.8 update has increased the scan time quite a bit. Just to let this forum know I have not expericned much of a time increase. I use standard scan, with scan archive files checked, I am running XP Sp 2. Using 4.7; size 17.2 GB, time 41 min, 34 sec and using 4.8; 17.3 GB. time 48 min, 5 sec. I don't find a 6 1/2 mintue increase to be too bad.
