That Vista does not boot from a text bootloader (boot.ini) as XP...

I've tried to download the trial version of salamander (2.51) ,intalled, and replaced the files in the directory of bart cd.

Then I ve rebooted , and .... that works fine (with a day counter) .That means my first idea is good, the version of salamander
present on the bart cd is a version containing a Validity test .

This validity test dont work when starting from usb,

The question is could you obtain a legal version from altap resolving this problem?
