help w Win32:Trojan-gen. {UPX!} and C:_recover files

avast detected files from my c:\_restore\TEMP\ dir such as c:\_restore\TEMP\ A036****.cpy with the Win32:Trojan-gen. {UPX!} virus. it gives me an error message when i try to move, delete or rename them. how do i get rid of them?
what does this virus do. it also caught the VBS:haptime virus on my cold mail.dbx file which i moved to the chest. email still seems to be working. my computer as of late has been very slow and i'm getting bombarded by pop ups when on the net. does this have anything to do with it. any suggests? thanks.

Do you run any anti-spyware? (i.e. ad-aware, spybot or else?)

I have had slow pc's at hand. Spyware, virusses and people who don't clean-up and defragment their pc are usually the reasons.

disable System RESTORE, and the files in the _Restore-folder will be gone:
