Hi,
i use avast free and have this problem: it scans all i do, that is ok, but, it shows also the whole time for example when i visit a webpage that screen of scanning proces, the on acces scanner messages.
i'd like it to be invisible, but working, i may assume that that is possible but icannot figure out where.

Help wanted.
Thanks,
Jerry

Hi

Left click the "a" icon, select the web shield provider, click the customize button, click the advanced tab, uncheck "show detailed info on preformmed action"

You can check the other providers also and see if the box is checked.

This option, 'Show detailed info on performed actions' is off by default, so it would appear you have been tweaking avast without knowing the effect it will have.

Windows 10 Home 64bit/ Acer Aspire F15/ Intel Core i5 7200U 2.5GHz, 8GB DDR4 memory, 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD/ avast! free 24.3.6108 (build 24.3.8975.762) UI 1.0.801/ Firefox, uBlock Origin, uMatrix/ MailWasher Pro/ Avast! Mobile Security
