I have an UbuntuServer(LAMP) controlled over webmin and few WinXP clients. I want a centralized antivirus, who will be installed on UbuntuServer and automatically deployed on win xp clients. Will avast for linux server work in that way or not?
I have read datasheets but as i understand, avast will not deploy, he will scan other disks over network (which will degrade network performance).
So; here is my two questions:
- avast for linux server is : scanning over network or use deployment?
- does avast for linux have some options for remote control?
