Avast 4.8 blocks access to network mapped folders on Windows XP64 SP2

I have several network locally mapped folders and every time I try to copy something from any of them, avast hangs my transfer and logs error messages (00000005). I have to disable Avast every time i try to copy something from my network (windows workgroup)

P.S.
It never happed on Windows XP Pro 32.
The network folders are on an Network Storage Unit (NSU) running linux.

This problem is pretty serious and I wonder why no official replay?

Error 5 means access denied. Are you sure you have rights to access that folders/files?
