Program End and Program Start

I use 1178 Beta free on 98 S.E

Is it normal to NOT have a windows sound association for the Program End and Program Start? what I mean is there is no sound icon next to these in the windows sound settings.

I was thinking that perhaps this is down to the fact it's used on 98, and this feature is disabled for the Program End and Program Start only.

By the way I have the Avast sound settings disabled but curious anyway.

I think yes... these two events haven't a sound associated by default.
