I have posted about this previously, but I don't think that there were any additional posts made recently.
When I attempted to install ADNM on a SBS 2008 box, it tried to install the windows internal database for Avast. However, it says that it doesn't support x64.
I haven't tried anything in a while, and I'm sure that I can get it to work, but there really should be some type of installation instructions.
If I get it to work, I'll write it up for review. If I don't get it done in time, someone else should probably do it and place it on the website.
I know that it will probably take installing SQL lite 2005 manually, and telling the installer to use that instance, but I've had problems in the past with using that method (I think I tried manually installing SQL Express 2008 or 2007, whatever it is, and it didn't work). I've typed in the server name\instance name, instance name only, and also, the IP address of the serverIP\instance name and for some reason the ADNM server wouldn't accept that for an answer.
I'd really like to see an informative write-up on how to install the SBS suite on an SBS 2008 server, if there already isn't one. But I'll be glad to test anything that the techs want me to, so that they get the info that they need before creating a write-up if they haven't done so already (please excuse my ignorance if there is already one posted to the website, there wasn't one the last time that I checked).
Thanks!
