right click scan
« on: May 13, 2008, 08:45:31 PM »
Hi. Notice there is the facility to do a right-click scan via context menu on a single file. When tried - flashes on/off screen too fast to see any result. My question is: is this right click scan for a single file necessary as being run with realtime protection a rogue would surely be flagged by the engine scanning in realtime?

Cheers,

Yes, and that is why it is so quick it doesn't have to display results. Believe me if it is infected all hell breaks loose and you will know, if it is quiet it is clean.

However just set it to display the explorer extension results, see image, Program Settings, Common 'Show results of Explorer Extension.'
