Mozilla - Delete folder problem
« on: March 24, 2004, 12:17:49 AM »
Hi,

Mozilla and Avast have been working really well, until today.

Full HD scan found infected file in inbox.  The path was too long to be displayed in Avast window so without thinking (I assumed it was referring to a specific email not  all emails in the folder) I elected to delete the infected file.. After delete I can no longer view all emails in inbox although the subject heading is still viewable.

Running Mozilla 1.6, Win XP pro, and Avast 4.1

Can I reverse the deletion?  I do not have a recent back up to restore from.

If you have clicked 'delete file to recycle bin', you can find it there, otherwise you will have to use some restoration (undelete) utility.

You can find links for restoration utilities here. Take a look at section File Recovery & Management Tools  ;)
