Do settings in IE6 and Outlook change?

Does Avast Home overwrite or change any settings for IE6 and/or Outlook Express? If so which settings? If you uninstall Avast will the settings go back to the way they was before Avast was installed?

I want to find out this information before I load Avast into my system, Windows ME.

As for OE, if you choose to protect your mail accounts, avast will modify server addresses and usernames in those accounts. These settings will be restored during the uninstall.

Joe-lee, no fear, the changes can be made and roll back automatically with the Mail Protection Wizard (an avast! component). Wellcome on board!  ;)
