What became of polaris?
« on: April 22, 2008, 12:19:55 AM »
Hi malware fighters,

Is there a real solution to the malware ridden Windows environment on the Internet?
POLA and polaris was a way through applying the principle of least authority to get to such a solution to get to a malware free environment and a Windows environment that even could withstand a malware shatter attack, but the scheme had no future economically. Why could it not be launched on a larger scale:

Stop laughing an read this:

But apparently it was not for the real world, although the idea was sound,

Use NoScript, a limited user account and a virtual machine and be safe(r)!
