I'm a happy user of Avast 3.8 Home and i have the following question; Does Avast protect me form drive by downloads? AVG 8.0 Free doesn't....

Yes. It has Standard Shield to scan files and, before, all Internet traffic will be scanned by WebShield and an infected file won't be even saved in the computer ;)

Hopefully just a typo as the current version is 4.8.1169 not 3.8 ;D
