4 gb local settings

hi,

after updating avst the folder user/local settings/temp/_avast4_
was more than 4 GB
How can i solve this ???
I deleted the whole folder
(win2k)

1. Are you using the latest version of avast?
2. what are the names of the files in that folder?

hi,

I was to quick to delete the whole folder but there were hundreds of files in an numerical order, and yes i use the latest version (0403-18)

This is the VPS version. Latest program version is 4.1.357. Does this number match yours and which version do you have (Home Edition,Professional,Server itd...)

Did you performed full system scan recently? (With Scan Archives option enabled?)

It would be worth trying to retry the scan with archives enabled, and monitor the folder. I wonder if the files would be recreated...
