outlook 2007

Can any one help me? just started using outlook 2007 and now I can not send an email without stopping on access protection.
I,ve tried everything I can think of but the email refuse's to go until I turn off on access protection and as soon as I do that it goes
I do not get any error message's it just will not send.   Any help please???

which OS do you use?

do or did you use any other security programs? (antivirus, firewall, antispyware,...)

Ensure the avast add-in isn't disabled.
Outlook 2007 > Tools > Trust center > Add-inns > Manage Disabled items.
