Check the folder Alwil Software\Avast4\DATA\Skin
You need to disable the avast self defense module to delete the files from the avast folder.avast Settings -> Troubleshooting page.
Another question: How do I know wich files to delete?
What's the extension of the skin?

Not really. Even if these were in the Application Data folder (which is likely to happen in v5), they'd still be under the control of the Self defense module.
There will be no skins to be managed with avast 5 (they will not be supported). Problem solved.
The skins will be dead in Avast 5? Why?
PD: didn't find the <avast>\Data\Log\Debug*.txt file. Is there any need to delete it?
