windows says my avast anti virus is out of date

i booted up my PC today and windows xp  says my avast anti virus is out of date yet i have put my new licence in and its still saying

avast! antivirus 4.8.1201(vps 080516-2) reports that it might be out of date

i have done the updates and it says I'm up to date yet i still have windows warning me
i put Sp3 on my PC 2 days ago and it was all OK till today

please help me sort this problem

yes that link sorted it and it turns out an update is knocking out my date not shore which update but thank you for ur help with sorting this problem  ;D

The updates don't touch the system date only avast files. The most common issue is someone checking a date in the future using the system clock and not resetting the date back on completion or a problem with the CMOS battery.
