can enyone tell me how to put the avast icon in my taskbar

hi.iam new to this forum and avast 4 pro i just installed it and after a reboot there is no icon on my taskbar eny help would be appreciated thanks in advance

Try to uninstall/boot/install/boot again...
Or use the 'Repair' function (Control Panel > Add/Remove programs > avast antivirus).

But, before anything else, do you use any other antivirus in your computer? Did you install one in the past?
This error is in most cases related to this... Two antivirus at the same system are generally incompatible.

hi.technical.thanks for the reply.i just uninstalled and reinstalled and rebooted but still no icons it should be two icons and you put them into one as i understand.with the repair what do i do???you where rite about the antivirus.my old antivirus was still in the registry.i got rid of it reinstalled and every thing is ok thanks for the help.......
