Not scanning Mail

I've been running Avast for several weeks now quit successfully and it has scanned my mail and put the messages at the bottom.
Today, when the mail comes in, the blue A icon on my toolbar spins around but there is no pop ups to say that the mail is being scanned nor is there any messages at the bottom of the mail.
I've checked the on access scanner Internet mail section and that still has the same settings. The only thing different is that I've changed my provider but that shouldn't make any difference, should it?

Are you sure that the setting: 'Show detailed info on performed action' (Advanced tab settings of the Internet Mail provider) was not disabled?

At 'Pop' tab you can configure the notes at the end of the message body.

You can configure them either at avast4.ini file (More information about the avast4.ini file you can see here).
