Hello everyone,
        One month back i downloaded Avast on my comp, i scanned my comp also.
But i found it has made my comp very slow. So i wanted to remove it. From add and remove programme i tried to remove it, but it is not allowing to remove itself.
It gets hide itself. Along with it hides my E:,F:,C: . Because of it, i am not able to read so many important file.
 Ps. suggest......

avast doesn't hide files, folders or partitions, so there is something else going on.

What do you mean by "but it is not allowing to remove itself." ?
What errors are displayed, etc. ?
Also if you don't have administrator privileges on the account you are using I don't know if that woulds top you uninstalling it.

If you can't uninstall from the add remove problem it usually indicates a failed installation.
Have (or did) you another AV installed in this system, if so what was it and how did you get rid of it ?

Download the avast! Uninstall Utility, find it here and save it to your HDD.

Which other antivirus are you using?
Which one did you use in the past?
Are you sure your computer is clean? avast does not hide drives...
