Hi I have two servers running server 2003 R2 the avast install along with ADNM appeared to go correctly mirrors download and all appeared correct until I attempted to access the console.
There were now servers in the drop down lists I ran ams maintenance and the database checked out correctly
these files were there
C:\Programmi\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL$AVAST\Data\avast*.mdf
C:\Programmi\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL$AVAST\Data\avast*.ldf
yet when I attempt to logon to the console "no server?"
Any suggestions

/Sigh must be having a bad day after typing this entry I kept browsing and reading and found a valid suggestion, although typing in the server name hadn't worked typing in the IP address appears to have been successful
So for now thanks for the help I found in this forum
