Outlook/Exchange Provider

I found a strange problem on my XP-Pro-box with OL2002:

I have more then one user account on this machine.
Since a few days on one account the provider for OL/Exchange does not start anymore when I start outlook. Also the green splash-Screen does not apear. Viruses are not detected while receiving.
On the second account everything works fine.
I checked the Add-Ins in OL. Avast is enabled in both accounts. I've deinstalled/reinstalled the OL-Provider, no success. The working Account has admin priviledges the other not.
Any ideas?

Check Outlook -> About Box -> Disabled Items.
If avast is on the list, remove it...

If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving's not for you.

Don't know why it was disabled but it's from MS...
