updating witout internet connection

i dun have internet connection at home so im  ot always able to updating avast all the time.. so im trying to update manually.. i have download the updates file but i dunno how to installed/run it to avast system.. so if anyone know can you please tell me how.. all i found in here is that download it then run.. but i dunno how to 'run' it.. please give me more detail.. i download it into thumbdrive and then i dunno what to do next..

You have VpsUpd.exe saved on a thumbdrive? Copy the file to your desktop and double click the file if you have Avast installed in the default location "C:\Program Files\Alwil Software" its as easy as that

If you downloaded the vpsupd.exe file, just double-click it to run it.
