Avast icons dissapeared!

After i used ComboFix, after i was hit by a wicked virus, ummm my icons disappeared and it's hard to tell if it's working or not. Anyone have a quick fix for this. If so e-mail me please.

I answered your other post, http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=10630.msg304740#msg304740, in it I asked a number of questions. However combo-fix may have been what removed it so I would like to hope that it could also restore it.

Try a repair of avast. Add Remove programs, select 'avast! Anti-Virus,' click the Change/Remove button and scroll down to Repair, click next and follow.

If that does not work you will have to try some of the other suggestions I gave in that post.
Otherwise you are left with, a reinstall, uninstall, reboot, install, reboot.
