how to install license key on desktops

We recently purchased licenses for 2 servers and 25 workstations (mix of Mac and PC). The workstaion installs want a text license key and we were sent a dat file (which I've installed on the servers). What's the deal?

So, you must have the license file and the license key for yours workstation.
